I’m Jenaé!
A woman choosing to pursue God with my whole heart while still figuring out the best ways to go about it. I’m creative, a deep thinker (sometimes too deep), and naturally inquisitive. Because of my life experiences, I’m particularly interested in the questions that don’t always have easy answers:
What does faith look like when life doesn’t go according to plan?
How do we keep trusting God when we’re tired, disappointed, confused, or waiting?
And how do we become the women God is calling us to be while still being honest about where we are?
That curiosity has found its way into everything I create. Through my podcast, Favor In Beauty, my devotional, He Meets Me, and the community I’m building, my hope is to create different touchpoints where women can feel encouraged, challenged, seen, and reminded of God’s presence in their everyday lives.
One of the most important lessons I’ve learned so far is that true identity can never be found in what we acquire. I’ve lived enough life to sometimes feel like I’ve lived three lifetimes. I’ve done and achieved so many things that I thought would finally make me feel accomplished - like I’d “made it.”
Now, I realize there is no earthly title, position, accomplishment, or possession that could ever fill the God-sized hole I lived with for so long. And honestly, that realization has changed the way I see everything.
